Presentation of selected films of the Iranian Zoroastrian film festival in Australia
Foreign service, Ashkan Khosrowpour: Selected films from the Iranian Zoroastrian Film festival were shown in Australia.
ZNA informs that four films selected from this festival were presented in screen in Sydney Fire temple, on 7 June 2009 (17 Khordad).
The films of this festival were in Farsi language with English footnote.
According to Fereidoon Demehri, focal point of the festival of Iranian and Zoroastrian cultural films, these films are shown with the intention of acquainting Zoroastrians living abroad with religious activities of other countries and increasing the Zoroastrian view horizon regarding the Zoroastrian religion.
On this occasion, in which 70 Zoroastrians resident in Australia had participated, a token of appreciation of Sydney Anjuman was awarded to Fereidoon Demehri by Fariborz Jamshidi, Director of Australia Zoroastrian Anjuman.
