Kanoon Iran Bozorg (The Great Iran Club) holds ‘Shahnameh’ recitation sessions with the participation of Ali Sarami

TEHRAN (Amordadnews): Ali Sarami recites and comments on the Shahnameh, from the first verse to the last.
This professor in literature arranges these sessions every Thursday, from 16 to 18 hours, in the “Rasaneh Cultural Centre” for recitation of Shahnameh.
It is the fourth Thursday that these sessions are being held, with the initiation of Kanoon IranBozorg.  Shahram Hakhamanesh, one of the members of the Club, said: “These sessions are free of charge and all who are interested can participate.”  He added that these sessions will also be held during Nowrooz holidays, and most probably in the year 1388 (2009) Mrs Irangard and Mr Amir Sadeghi will be invited to participate in these sessions for reciting the Shahnameh.
