The first message of the Anjuman was dispatched

TEHRAN (Amordadnews): The SMS system of Tehran Zoroastrian Anjuman was inaugurated in the afternoon of 19th Esfand 9th March 2009) in the office of the Anjuman.
In this ceremony, members of the 41st cycle and the staff of the Anjuman were present. After Rostam Khosraviani, Director, cut the red ribbon, the system officially started functioning.
Rostam Khosraviani read the first message, as follows: “Through this number the Anjuman is ready to receive comments and guidance from Zoroastrians. Please give your mobile number to the Public Relations commission of the Anjuman.Before inauguration, Mehran Sepehri, Deputy director, said a few words: “Today, we will inaugurate a new system in the Anjuman which will help to strengthen and simplify our union and relationship with the Zoroastrian community.”
According to him, with the help of this system the Anjuman will be able to send messages to the community members and keep them informed of news and activities of the Anjuman, receive messages from Zoroastrians and also use this system as opinion poll.
Sepehri hoped that with the help of SMS, which is installed due to the efforts of the Public Relations commission, the union between the Anjuman and our community will strengthen.
Zoroastrians may wish to send their mobile numbers to 100067290040 for joining the network. Farhad Roointan, Head of the Public Relations Commission, stated that right now there are about 2000 numbers available in the Anjuman’s data bank.
