Yaneshvaran Mantra Association of Yazd invites Zoroastrians to
participate in the Zoroastrian Traditional/Cultural Exhibition

YAZD (Amordadnews): Every year, during Nowruz, a traditional/cultural exhibition is set up by Yaneshvaran Mantra Association of Yazd.
For 1388 (2009) the venue will be Yeganegi Hall and Zoroastrian Youth Club.  Through a circular, Yaneshvaran Mantra has invited Zoroastrians to participate in this exhibition.
Text of the circular is as follows:
“As in the past years, Yaneshvaran Mantra Association is planning to hold an exhibition of Zoroastrian traditions and culture during Nowruz 1388.  We hereby invite your good selves to participate, by putting relevant items at our disposal, and assist us in a successful display in the exhibition.  Items that can be of help are as follows:
1- Biography and photos of outstanding Zoroastrian personalities, from the past, upto now;
2- History and photos of Zoroastrian pilgrimage sites;
3- Philosophy and photos of Zoroastrian ceremonies;
4- Photos and relevant explanation of Zoroastrian traditional clothes (makna, shaval, . . .)
5- The weaving of kusti, preparing the mixture of dried fruit (lork) for ceremonies, and frying “sirog” ( bread fried in oil);
6- Photos and description of traditional and old Zoroastrian buildings
7- Photos and explanation about “Atash Behrams”, “Ashu Zarathustra”, ‘Avesta”, “Fravahar”, “Dukma” (dakhmeh), and . . .
8- Photos and explanation of any other related items.
The photos should of high quality, without any logo or trademark, having the ability for enlargement upto the size of A3 sheet.
