Rostam Bagh registered as national heritage

TEHRAN (Amordadnews): “The Rostam Bagh complex will be registered as national heritage by the end of Khordad (June).
Deputy for National Heritage, of the Provincial National Heritage department of Tehran, gave the above news and said: “According to our plans, the Rostam Bagh complex, which is one of the old Zoroastrian places in Tehran, will be registered in the list of national heritage sites.
Mohammad Reza Beiraghi added: “Rostam Bagh, situated in the Falake Dovom, Tehran Pars, on the south-east corner of Eshragh Square, has tall brick walls and in its garden there are old pine trees.”

Rostam Bagh endowed complex was built by Arbab Rostam Guiv, one of the charitable Zoroastrian community members, and endowed to the community in 1336 (1957), for the use of Zoroastrians. Rostam Bagh is an example of complexes that are built in India and China, and in his trips to these two countries, Arbab Rostam saw these complexes and when returning to Iran, built a similar one in which there are 15 2-story buildings, for Zoroastrian to live in.
