30th Death Anniversary of Mehrdad Fararouni

TEHRAN (Amordadnews): A ceremony on the occasion of the 30th death anniversary of Mehrdad Fararouni was held on 21st Bahman (9th February 2009) in Iradj Hall.


The ceremony was attended by his relatives and in the end a short film was shown about his life.

 

Martyr, Mehrdad Fararouni, was born in 1335 (1956). He was a distinguished student of Kharazmi High School (one of the most famous high schools in Tehran) from which he graduated in 1352 (1973). 

 On 21st Bahman 1357 (1979), one day before the victory of the revolution, he left home and never returned.  His dead body was seen, incidentally, on TV, but no more was said or known about his death.
