After putting the city gas pipe for use in the Cemetery, Rostam Khosraviani faced the visitors and said:  “We thank God that the gas piping problem of the Cemetery is solved after intensive efforts of the Anjuman.  With God’s grace, from now on, in the cold of winter, our fellow Zoroastrians will feel comfortable in the Cemetery, especially on the day of Zarathushtra’s demise anniversary, when gas had to be carried, each year, to the Cemetery by tanker.”
Rostam Khosraviani continued:  “Our aim is to accomplish our plans, as far as the Anjuman funds allow, to provide the best services which the Zoroastrian community deserves.”
He also gave the good news of improvement of the Cemetery compound and said:  “Improvement of the Cemetery environment will doubtless affect the spirit of our community members.”

He explained that the goal of the 41st cycle of the Anjuman was pragmatism, along with a systematized program, and said: “All the Anjuman Commissions should work under clear prospectives and objectives so that they can be effective and beneficial for the coming cycles and work can continue on a radical, dynamic and organized manner.”Rostam Khosraviani continued:  “The condition of the route in the area of the gas pipe network is such that in practice, it was not possible to benefit from city gas embranchment for the Cemetery.  The only accessible embranchment was the private gas pipe which is drawn by the Revolutionary Guards for one of the adjacent military towns.  Extensive liaising took place between the Anjuman and the Revolutionary Guards and finally we succeeded to convince them to provide an embranchment for the Cemetery.”
In conclusion, he said:  “In addition to piping gas for the Cemetery, the Anjuman plans to renovate the entrance compound of the Cemetery to bring it to an acceptable standard for our community, and we will try to finish this project by Nowrooz.”
The gas piping in the Cemetery is of the high pressure type and there is no fear of gas shortage in winter.
