Visit of the Head of the Public Relations commission of Tehran Zoroastrian Anjuman from the endowed Oosun Garden
Mazyar Nikbakhsh: Farhad Roointan, Head of the Public Relations Commission of Tehran Zoroastrian Anjnuman, paid a visit to the Oosun Garden, together with a group of Zoroastrian mountaineers, to check progress of work.
Oosun Bag is situated on the slopes of Alborz range, in Darband area. In 1357 (1978) Soroush Fereidoon Om built this garden and today it has one two-story building and an incomplete building, with wild trees and fruit tree. Soroush Om endowed this beautiful garden to Tehran Zoroastrian Anjuman to use it as a resting place for Zoroastrian mountaineers.
In the past few years Tehran Anjuman has taken steps in renovating the two-story building, a wall around the garden, a new stairway, and also a ceiling for the terrace of the building. Though much is left to be done to convert it into a suitable place for Zoroastrian mountaineers, it is hoped that with an overall approach the 41st cycle of the Anjuman will take necessary action and complete renovation of the garden.
Herebelow are photos of the garden.

Pictures that are hanging on the wall tell about those who have built and kept this place. The right hand picture is of Soroush Om and the left hand one is the late Ardeshir Moradian.
