With transfer of the Congress emblem to India
The 9th World Zoroastrian Congress ended on 5 January 2010

Amordad correspondent, Ashkan Khosrowpour:  The World Zoroastrian Congress wound up on 5 January and the emblem was transferred to India.
On the last day of the Congress, held in Crown Plaza Hotel, Meher Bhesania extended his appreciation to all those involved in organizing and holding the Congress.
In another part of the program Vino Rajamoni, the Indian Ambassador to Emirates, delivered a speech and said that he has had many Parsee friends in his life who are his best friends.  He referred to the service of the Parsees to the industry, culture and art of India, and said:  “The Parsees have a small community in India but are the foremost in many fields, like law, art, cinema and science.  Parsees have built hospitals in India which have admitted not only Zoroastrians but other Indian patients too.”  At the end of his speech, he presented logos of reminiscence to the sponsors of the WZC in Dubai.
As one of the programs of the last day, a group of below-40-years Zoroastrians gathered in a meeting and spoke about the Zoroastrian Anjumans and Organizations in their countries.  Iran also had a representative in this meeting, who introduced the Zoroastrian Student Club.
