Planting of tree saplings in the Tehran Fire Temple by Directors of Zoroastrian Anjumans On the Tree Planting Day

TEHRAN (Amordadnews): On the Tree Planting Day some of the Directors and members of boards of directors of Tehran Anjuman gathered in the Fire Temple courtyard and in a symbolic gesture started planting tree saplings.
Mehrdad Ghadrdan, a Zoroastrian researcher in Shiraz, gifted 12 cypress tree saplings from Shiraz to the Tehran Fire Temple.
Those who planted these trees were Esfandiar Ekhtiari, Zoroastrian MP, Ardeshir Khorshidian, director of Tehran Mobed Association, Rostam Khosraviania, Director of Tehran Zoroastrian Anjuman and Parvin Mehrabani, Director of Zoroastrian Ladies Organization.
